Leah's career began unwittingly, working at a Christian Dior cosmetics counter while attending college. She quickly learned that she had a talent for applying makeup and it wasn’t long before Leah had the highest sales in the country aside from Bloomingdales, Manhattan.
Her “big break” happened when she lived next door to a burgeoning photographer, John Patrick Salisbury and cinematographer Henri Bristol. Leah worked on many photo shoots with John Patrick, and worked on Henri's USC masters thesis project. His film, "Seed", went on to be nominated at the Sundance Film Festival and she went on to make 3 features with the leading actor Rose McGowan, thus beginning Leah's career in film and television.
Many elements need to come together in a production or photo shoot. The subject, the crew, long hours, hard work, experienced talent, and laughter are all just a part of what it takes to make it a success.
