David Gardner was born in central UK and fell in love with hair by age 7. Gardner was determined to take it all the way, he moved to London by the age of 17 and by sheer force of will he moved to NY by the age of 21. He went off to become the first assistant to hair giant Oribe Canales.

 

David worked in Milan and Paris at events for Armani, Versace, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein and Prada. Gardner established trust with top photographers like D'orazio, Penn, Avedon and Scavulo. His name became known and superstar Linda Evangelista, amongst others insisted on only him. 

 

Sante D'orazio had David working nonstop and for years Gardner worked in the cut throat fashion world shooting many covers and campaigns, but he craved something more. He found what he was missing when Mira Sorvino won an Oscar and started booking him for all of her personal events. David’s first movie credit was for Mira’s movie 'Mimic' directed by Guillermo Del Toro. Now, still with Mira and many others, his client base has continued to grow. Gardner has a list of clients that he loves and with the superb representation of Exclusive Artists he continues to flourish.
